Survival Craft vs. Minecraft: Mining Edition

Mining is an important aspect in both Survival Craft and Minecraft. But the problem with Minecraft is the lack of usefulness when compared side-to-side with Survival Craft's ores.

Minecraft ores [Total of 8]:
  • Coal
  • Iron
  • Lapis-Lazuli
  • Gold
  • Diamond
  • Redstone
  • Emerald
  • Nether Quartz

Survival Craft ores [Total of 7]:
  • Coal
  • Iron
  • Diamond
  • Malachite [Commonly called "Copper Ore"]
  • Saltpeter
  • Germanium
  • Sulfur

Malachite Ore [LEFT]    Germanium Ore [RIGHT]

So yes, Survival Craft has less ores, but there is SO much more to do with them!

~Minecraft has armor ability with Diamond, Gold, Iron, and Leather, [and this is an upcoming feature for 1.26 in Survival Craft].
~In Survival Craft, however, you have the ability to make gunpowder, and  gunpowder kegs with the germanium, sulfur, and and coal chunks you obtain after mining.
~Not only that, but by smelting malachite ore in a furnace, you obtain copper ingots used to make buckets, batteries, electric wire, etc. [Minecraft's electrics are VERY limited. ]
~Survival Craft ores are used in mixing paint, making electronics [on another note, there are a lot more electronics in Survival Craft as well, but we will save that for another time :) ], etc.

If you would like to view the complete list of electronics that are made with these ores, just visit the Survival Craft Wiki HERE. To view the paint recipes that require ores, click HERE.
